Wallflower

Adventures in animation

Greetings my fellow vagabonds.

I recently released my most ambitious animation to date, titled Wallflower.

It's very much a riff on the classic invasion of the body snatchers films of the 20th century.

I also wrote a score with my pal David Park (see his music channel here).

I'm still learning the ropes, but I'm happy with the progress I'm making on the animation and score fronts.

Here's the same short with a more mobile phone friendly aspect ratio, where you can maybe better appreciate some of the subtleties of the animation.

I also recently recorded the music for a parody of sorts for an even more ambitious animation which I'm currently getting the ball rolling on, so keep an eye out on my Patreon and/or YouTube channel.

Incidentally, I took this photo on a 165km hike myself and Nadine undertook last week:

It reminded me of the ending of Wallflower and indeed the face hugger pods from Alien.
